You play a cupcake schedule...anything is possible. They only played 1 ranked team and that was Oregon before their conference title game. Still not sold on them. They were 11-2 last year and my Irish took them out in the playoffs. They'll fold again when push comes to shove.

As an Irish fan, you should know about usually playing one or two ranked teams each year and a bunch of cupcakes the rest of the time. Last year was Indiana's first time being relevant in my lifetime and Cignetti's first year there. They are more experienced this year. Not the toughest schedule, but beat the #4 team by 10 at their house and just beat the #1 defending national champ. Also beat Iowa who is #23 in the CFP rankings. 13-0 is 13-0.

It's a true testament to how shitty the BigX really is, no doubt.

Big EZ- so easily that people forget....last year in the playoffs we took out your Indiana then Georgia then Penn State and then lost by 11 to Ohio State. Let me see any team go through that Indiana, Georgia, Penn State and Ohio State in a row.

You had more talent than both Indiana and Penn State. Georgia had a backup quarterback playing, and had two regular season losses with their starter.

None of those teams were especially great or anything.

You got blasted once you actually played a more talented group, even though Ohio State also had two losses last year.

Cignetti makes other good coaches like Matt Campbell look not so good. Campbell loses 5 games and everyone is like but "look where he is at"

Losing by 11 is blasted?....ok. So Alabama losing by 21 today should definitely kick them out of the playoffs.

Sidewalk- did LSU make the playoffs with your 100 million dollar coach Brian Kelly?

That game was 31-7 in the third quarter, then Day took his foot off the gas and the final score looked more respectable.

2012 Bama threw the ball more in the second half of the 42-14 whipping than Day did last year.

Last year is last year. Y'all beat UGA without their QB (though UGA wasn't as good last year either way). And ND made the playoffs after playing only one team that finished ranked in the regular season. Was just rattling your chain a little chain, but ND went on a great run in the post-season and were great in the playoffs.

But again, Indiana had a lot on them being their first relevant team in my lifetime last year. They have more experience this year and are significantly better. 13-0 is hard to do against anyone and they beat two top 5 teams to get there.

Agreed, Big EZ...but it was a soft schedule. Beating Ohio State makes your season way more legit though but now the hard part comes. Win a playoff game and then lets see how good Indiana is because the playoffs are a whole different animal. If ya'll win a playoff game or two...your recruiting classes are gonna go way up.
