The vast majority of the threads on here are eventually overrun with trolling. It's not just an Arkansas problem.

True. But arkansas is a big part of it. But I agree with you...it's almost like if there's half a page of real life football talk people get nervous and think "omg, nobody has made jokes yet to troll OP, I guess I better do it NOW! It wouldn't be the rant without a troll somewhere!!!!!" which is sad. There have been multiple times just this week where someone has actually said something along the lines of "wow, we've gotten [X far through the thread] and nobody has trolled yet, c'mon yall need to step it up!" as if real discussion is a bad thing.

Yeah I saw this in a thread the other night. It was baffling to see the thought process as it played out and by the very next page the thread had gone to hell.

I don't think I've ever started a deliberate troll thread. I think everybody has a few trolls. For some reason, ours are pretty damned effective. Lots of practice.
