They're missing their holding coach though

Holding is a natural born talent son. And we recruit the best.

I don't doubt either thing you posted.Bama is replacing starters(mostly 2 yr starters) at key positions.Cornerback and 3 offensive linemen. It's very probable that there will be a drop-off in production. How much is the question.

The thing that keeps me from worrying too much is that the Defense is always farther along than the Offense this time of year. Not much time left to get it together though.

The schedule still favors Bama, and they only have 1-2 games that will be a challenge. Even if they drop one, they'll still be right there.

at this time of the season most D's are ahead of the O's if the HC puts emphasis on both of those phases of the game. Unlike WVU. So NS seems to be overall content with his first scrimmage. Barret Jones was a great starter but I don't see much of a drop off with our new center physically, just does not have a lot of snaps but has 2 years in the system.

the other new starters have at least 3 years in the system. Where as their may be a slight drop off, they could still be something special.

I guess you're out of the loop on VT football. At their spring game they put the scrubs, we're talking scout and walk-ons against the first team to pump them up and cover up how bad this team is to their loyal fans. They nearly lost the game.

That's your hot garbage. I heard Saban was praising Henry for his running, but the OP says nothing about that? Did he push OL men out of the way and make everybody on defense miss, too?

I agree. Alabama's offensive line is going to make that bus driver struggle.

It's a good thing we get away with holding so much than. We are gonna need it this year big time.

Some Alabama fan goes to the first scrimmage and comes back and says the OL sucks and all of a sudden we get nearly TEN pages of comments in just a few hours! Reckon there's any Bama obsession around here?
