Yet we have been to 6 CWS in that time period, and won 4 SEC tournaments in that timespan.

Auburn, Georgia and Kentucky are darkhorses to make a Regional.
lol. We're making a regional, and I said the same thing even before this weekend.

The SEC is Stacked. We could get 4-5 to CWS this year.
BTW fellow Ole Miss Alum, Ameritrade was built to keep the Southern teams down. If we were all black you could call it blatant racism. (And the new shitty bats)
It hasn't worked as well as they liked but after LSU's run in the 90's they declared war on offense, home runs and Gorilla ball and the GD Ameritrade Stadium is the fricking Death Star. (In a normal Stadium State wins that second game last year)
Now as a result college baseball popularity is down and thus the rule changes to the ball etc to try to undue the damage. The problem is to get to CWS and though regionals you need a balanced great team. (Normal stadiums) To win in Ameritrade all you need two good pitchers and defense cause the Death Star will kill off the offense and HR's.(UCLA two years ago perfect example. They went 10-0 and batted barely above 200.)
It is the fricking king of the small ball stadium, and 1-0 2-1 games.

You haven't even won a game at TD Ameritrade yet. Both Landmass schools have done that multiple times. I'd slow your roll if I were you.
Absolutely Mr Dildo Strong. Why just add up all those CWS titles by the pantload schools you're so proud of and it absolutely gives you the authority to be a douche. Congratulations!!

We've gotten a few good ones from Barbe. I know y'all get a ton of good ones from there as well. Georgia is another level but California, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, South Carolina and Virginia all have good prep baseball as well.

If I were to guess who will make a Super Regional in a few months, I would take: Vandy, Florida, South Carolina, and LSU
Haven't all these teams lost game already?

I have seen lsu's games this season and something is missing
LSU has played two weekends. it's February. ditto with the rest of the teams.
every team has "something missing" in February.
I have seen all of LSU games this year and I think they can be very special and have the talent to win it all. BUT, baseball teams have to improve and the experience of playing will do that. so who improves the most?
it's anyone's guess but vandy and lsu are loaded with talent and I would bet on either.

Yep, should be a fun season! Lots of teams can win it.

Hard to say we are amongst the favorites this early but we've looked pretty damn good so far against weak competition

Agreed ... for the most part except your chance for the perfect analogy, or metaphor if you will, was to cite SCAR being the last team to win it in The Blatt and the first to win it in TDA. Comparing those two SCAR teams - but also comparing the UCLA team that lost to SCAR with the one that beat ... was it Miss St? Can't remember and on my phone.

By no means am i saying UGA will come close to winning the SEC, i think we are underrated. The top 3 in the rotation are very solid and our lineup is a mix of experienced upperclassmen and young guys pushing to play. We do have a brutal SEC schedule but if we can steal a few series here and there, we could shock some people.

Lange may one day develop into an ace but he's a true freshman and that's unlikely (though not impossible) to happen this year.
He's legit.
