Frankly, it was more dangerous for Skalski than it was for Fields. Your taught to tackle with your head up from day 1. The way Skalski went in with his head down is how you break your neck. And spearing has been a 15 yard personal foul for a long time, so I'm not sure why anyone feels like a penalty shouldn't have been called.
Should he have been ejected? Maybe not, but he's going to break his neck one day if he keeps doing that.
I'm all for an ejection if a player leads with the crown into another players helmet though.
