Are you people stupid? A guy that is on his way to new york to try and see if he gets the fricking greatest award in college football, but he is left off as an all american. Are youfricking kidding me? I would seriously be offended if I was TM7. He has been the most popular player in the whole country this year. Every saturday in college football all the analyst try and watch the game because they know he's going to make a play at some point in the game. Having DeQuan Menzie over TM7 is an utter fricking joke and it goes to show you how much everybody else in the country envy alabama and have nick sabans cock shoved up their mouths. This is literally a fricking disgrace to nothave the BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY as a n all american.

His coverage skills aren't exceptional

i'll have to disagree here, but that is your opinion.

quote:

He's too short

k?

quote:

He lacks breakaway speed.

However, he has elite quickness and acceleration. Much more important to DB's.

quote:

He's great at what he does, but there are better DB's.

So he doesn't play DB?

Well, since you brought it up. Do you honestly think Menzie is a better DB?

This is laughable. If TM7 played for Alabama, they'd put up a fricking statue. Or at least print a t-shirt...the two highest forms of flattery in Alabama.

his height is why he isnt elite? him being short hasn't made any difference yet. UF tried to go over the top of him and he still picked it off.

poor teague should have just quit

All Americans have height requirements? So that's why Saban didnt make it all those years ago.

The argument is silly. A better one would be whose is a better defensive player not back? That should be a given.

Yeah, the coaches. The coaches doesn't know good players
Well considering none of those coaches thought he was good enough to recruit, it would not be the first time they were wrong about TM7.

Arenas

Wasn't Arenas an All-American as well? I remember laughing when I read that a couple years ago.

But really, comparing Arenas to HB7 is the dumb.

Ah, the suckfest continues.

There is a reason it's 4 DB's and not 2 Safeties and 2 CB's. It's so an outstanding DB like Mathieu that just makes plays can be selected.

TM7 is the ONLY defensive player to receive a significant amount of Heisman votes but not an AA is a complete fricking joke.

It's alright though. This is just another moral victory for the Gumps after this season. No West, SEC, or BCS title, and no Bowl Victory.

BUT BUT BUT......

We had 5 (count em 5!!) All-Americans and the GREATEST DEFENSE EVER!!!

Gotta love them moral victories.....

TM7 is an elite player, but not an elite CB. His coverage skills are average. But, credit to Chavis and the defensive coaching staff. They have taken a kid with elite instincts and quickness and put him in positions where he can excel. (It doesn't hurt when you do have the best cover CB in college football on the field at the same time to take away the other teams biggest threat.)
I do think that TM7's weed episode played some part and may have cost him some votes. Remember, coaches are very conservative by nature and control freaks. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them held it against TM7 that he got himself suspended and let his team down.

Bro Nick Fairly didn't make All American last year. If anything that's why he didn't get All American (drug episode). Everything else you said is complete horse shite. He can cover and he can at least cover as good as Menzie, lol. I mean come on, if you are gonna try and down play TM7, which is laughable, be fair and admit ya boy Menzie shouldn't be on that list either.

He is a Bama homer like most of them on this board, they can't be objective. You are asking a lot out of him.
