Thanks for reminding me of the 2011 LSU - Oregon game. I was there and it was magnificent.

Maybe it has changed, but I always give an edge to defense in early games, mainly because they tend to be pretty sloppy offensively.

They were killing it at our spring game, and we didn't even have Anthony Schwartz who is the fastest player in college football. He was busy with track. You'll be seeing him represent the USA in the Olympics next summer

I know Schwartz. Auburn’s overall team athleticism is impressive. Oregon has very good edge rushers and Auburn has a new qb. Avalos uses an exotic scheme. So, the Auburn passing game will come down to pass pro and decision making. At this point that’s an unknown.
