This is for the future. Louisville just switched to Adidas and they are a part of this. Read Pitino's account of getting the player involved. Crazy stuff. This can get ugly with them.
Louisville has been Adidas for decades now.

Nike apparel has gone to shite though. I'm sure they give the athletes nice stuff but their mainstream athletic shirts and shorts are garbage.
Couldn't agree more. I dont buy Nike athletic shorts or shirts anymore. They're cheap as hell and fall apart. Under Armour has waaaay better quality clothes for sure.

Adidas is top dog in the soccer world and have been for awhile. Nike and Adidas are global companies so being #1 for the most popular sport in the world is kinda a big deal. College basketball isn't shite compared to soccer for these companies.

What are you talking about bud? State hasn't had a season with less than ten wins in over 30 years. Nice try talking outta your arse tho

I don't really care for the SJW Adidas commercial, so it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see them called out. I'd rather let sports be my escape from politics, I don't want political views pushed on me during commercials.

Current NFLers with Adidas sponsorship. I'd hate to be a school with too many alumns on this list.

I know Jaylen Brown didn't go to UGA because we weren't an ADIDAS school... that's what he said.... Right? Or is UGA just an abortion of a basketball program? Asking for Jaylen Browns cousin/cuzzo

WJOX stated a while ago that ADIDAS stock was tanking
It really isn't. It's down 2.8%. down $6.41 to $220.79
To your point...it did end up closing down 7.20, but considering that it still closed up 78 points over its 52 week low...the stock has obviously been doing well this year. In no way does this single day drop of a stock priced in the 200's constitute "tanking". It will probably get beat up a bit over the coming weeks, but will then be a good value when it hits its floor.
Tanking is when a dividend utility stock that pays 3% on time every quarter for 20 years and priced around 20 a share goes to zero an hour after the bell on quarterly earnings.

Yeezy's are popular but they aren't in the top 15 selling shoes. The number 1 selling shoe any brand is this one. Apparently it is extremely popular in Asia.

Why nike will have to be apart of all of this. Adidas isn't doing only. Also, this was one of the reasons why UT changed to nike. To get into camps, and players that will only nike.

Who would you say has more recognizable athletes representing them in the 3 major sports in America, Nike or Adidas?
I believe the highest paid athletes in football and basketball, as far as shoe contracts, wear UA.
ETA UA has really gone after Nike. I know the two largest college deals involve UA schools.....Auburn being one.

So you admit you own Adidas gear? I must admit I had an Adidas t-shirt when I was a kid in the late 80s. I haunt owned any of that shite since and wouldn't even if my school was Adidas in which I'd probably be dead from gunshot to the head
