Against make-believe offenses such as Kentucky & Texas A&M..Corey Raymond is our DC.

Don't. Get. Mad.

Hey that 2007 team rocked.

30 points per game is so-so. We have 34.4 PPG last season and that was our lowest total under Sumlin (and was a general letdown).

I just checked LSU's site and I can't fine anywhere that says he becomes a DC when playing certain opponents:

You must be confusing him with Steele, who regularly moves in and out of the DC position in his career.

I would love to read those threads, and imagine a time when the LSU offense was trusted to put points on the board.

Who do you think is going to believe this?

All you have to do is search the board.

LSU had the best scoring offense in the SEC in 2006 (9th nationally @ 34 ppg), 2nd best in 2007 (11th nationally @ 39 ppg), and 4th best in 2008 (31 ppg).

LSU fans were saying they were counting on their awesome offensive system so almost any defensive improvement would be a huge positive?

Yes, after scoring over 30 points per game and only going 8-5 in 2008, LSU fans thought all they needed was to return the defense to 2005-2007 levels and we would be set. LSU was only a year or two removed from having Matt Flynn and Ryan Perrilloux at QB.

Why is that so hard for you to understand?

Oh, right, never mind.

Now it's a party.

Btw, y'all are paying a guy $5 million a year and he hasn't finished higher than 3rd in the West. He's also getting beat down in recruiting his own state from teams like LSU, Bama and OU.

How embarrassing it must be to have never witnessed your team beat LSU in football.

I was just making the point that when Chavis came on board, the LSU offense wasn't terrible. In fact, they were actually pretty good up until 2009.

2008 was a long time ago in the football world. I wasn't around then, sorry.

WestCoastAg already admitted he's never seen A&M beat LSU in football.

We all know texag7 hasn't either.

In your lifetime does not mean you saw it or have any recollection of it.

Slow your roll. I've seen it many times. Of course I've also seen y'all go on streaks against us like in the mid-80s and presently.

Things change.

No they don't the only decade yall had a winning record against us was the 90s which matter of factly coincides with LSUs worst era.
