There are 6 total. 3 of them won while at LSU.

Amazing and thank you for the hours of painstaking research you put in to developing this breaking sports story. You should get in touch with ESPN. I bet they'd love to have a crackerjack sports guy like you on staff.

Jimbo Fisher won a national championship as an assistant at LSU in 2003. Mack Brown was an assistant at LSU in 1982. That makes FIVE out of six with Dabo being the only oddball with no ties to LSU.

Considering that the SEC has dominated CF the last 15 years, that is not a big deal. How many SEC active Coaches have SEC tiles ? Or even Division titles ?

LSU did not win the national championship in 1982. Mack Brown, one of your six active coaches who have won a national championship, was on that LSU staff. That's all I am pointing out. He has ties to LSU.
