I have tried doing this a few times with no success but saw this and it worked like clockwork. Most of you have probably already figured this out but I thought I’d share it in case it would help anyone.

Steps to Activate:

1. Navigate to YouTube account sharing.

2. Click Connect next to the ESPN option.
A pop-up will appear; click Connect.
3. You will be directed to the ESPN activation flow on ESPN.com; click Agree & Activate.
4. You will be prompted to enter an email address and password.
5. You will be asked whether you'd like to share your ESPN Fantasy data with YouTube TV; click Link Accounts.
6. Visit the ESPN app to start streaming.

I decided to ditch the YouTube TV subscription and only go with ESPN Unlimited for the year + Local Channels OTA. I think the only football games I would miss would be those on CBSSN and FS1, which are games I probably wouldn't watch anyways.

YouTube TV was great, but the price hikes with how little I used it didn't make sense for me to keep. Anyone remember it being $35/month like 8 years ago?

I utilize the library often and have it save shows that I watch as time allows. If it wasn't for that I probably would not have it either.

I did the ESPN Unlimited last year and was completely fine. I don't really care if I miss some minor G5 or B1G game. 99% of what I watch are the SEC games anyway, and then the ACC. It's easy to get caught up in the "want to" of having all the channels for all the games, but you've got to take an honest assessment of what games you actually watch. I'm not trying to waste an extra $15-20 a month just so I can have the option of watching one or two games a month I don't truly even give a shite about, other than it's something to watch. Just a waste of money.

I loved the unlimited DVR. I recorded a ton of stuff including the local 5pm news, just in case I wanted to go back and watch something. YouTube TV was great and I may go back to it. I just wasn’t using much the last year or so.

Damn! I thought it was just me after a few margs! I fought this last night on one TV after doing it on 3 others.

Anyway, I logged out of the ESPN app on my tv and logged back in using my youtube TV credentials and it worked,.
