We won't know who Texas is until after Saturday.

This is it exactly.

It goes both ways: if you lose, we can revel in the fact that Texas has yet to be a decent SEC team (one that's one a down year, too).

However, if Texas wins, we'll have to admit that they beat a really, really good , B+ to A tier football squad and that the Longhorns are as good as or better than any team in the country until proven otherwise. They haven't earned the benefit of the doubt, but they have the chance to do so on Saturday.

Funny how Aggies are always talking about other teams not doing anything. Pleas, refrain from talking until you have done something in your lifetime.

I'm one of the few posters on here (and one of the very few Aggies) who is willing to be open-minded to Texas. You want me to refrain from that, too?

Getting cocky about beating UGA seems like a great idea.

The school in Austin hasn't "been there" as an SEC member yet, so I understand their ilk not acting like it. One would think that after sucking for so long after Bama broke them that they'd learn something.

Texas has scoreboard on Bama and Georgia currently.

So no reason to think otherwise.

Texas just happens to be on an upswing due to their fairly new decent head coach and NIL dollars. They have been a mid tier Big 12 team since 2010.

You’re not even half way through the season yet.

This is exactly why Texas isn't ready for the SEC. Two wins and trying to flex.
