Or play it Sunday or Monday, which seems to be the popular decision around UF if something has to be done.

Once again, please check back in Sunday so you can see how ridiculous this idea was

Makes sense to get on one of Florida's main evacuation routes.

I did read that Florida is not budging on playing in Baton Rouge. I read that UF officials have said that playing it in Baton Rouge is simply not going to happen

Not going as far as calling it classless, but it seems a bit ridiculous to write off a completely viable option.

FWIW I hope the game goes off in Gainesville as scheduled, I just don't see any way that happens.

This is simple. Move the game to BR, push the start time back and we'll have perfect tailgating weather. What's the problem Florida fans?

Opposite flow of traffic. Just don't throw your cheap beer cans out the window. All is good.

Exactly, which is they are being a bit more prudent then some may like. If BR can be ready in two days for Saturday, could it not get ready for Sunday or Monday if worse comes to worst?

None whatsoever. Looking forward to sunny skies Sat in G'ville.

Well, no problem other than 130MPH winds bearing down on me and my family but other than that, nothing really.

The stadium crew was told Monday to start preparing for a game Saturday just in case. Tiger Stadium will be stocked and ready to go. It makes so much sense to play in BR

I'm going to assume this was sarcasm. After gutting 2 family homes and seeing them lose everything, I cant imagine this comment was anything more than a dark joke.

A lot of the people that work LSU games have normal jobs and they will be at work Monday. Also, students who are also volunteers for games will be in class.
