The alleged scheme focused on getting students admitted to elite universities as recruited athletes, regardless of their athletic abilities, and helping potential students cheat on their college exams, according to the indictment.
The plot involved students who attended or were seeking to attend Georgetown University, Stanford University, UCLA, the University of San Diego, USC, University of Texas, Wake Forest, and Yale, according to federal prosecutors.

You just hate to see that

And people thought LSU fans were merely deflecting when we said don't be so quick to point and laugh.

Coaches helping non athletes get admitted as athletes has to be a first. Deacon Barnes would never break the law however

Nowhere is Rick Barnes mentioned, OP seems to be trying to deflect away from Wade as he's been doing for a week+

Lol this is mostly country club sports

Documents say the Loughlin and her husband "agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team -- despite the fact that they did not participate in crew -- thereby facilitating their admission to USC."

It just says D-1 coaches.. doesn't say head coaches. Something tells me Barnes wasn't silly enough to be the one running point on this

There's no indication that the schools were involved in any of the wrong-doing.

It's all speculation but it's not hard to connect dots

Geez if that’s a federal crime I wonder how many big donors around the SEC are about to go down. You know how many talentless white kids ive seen sitting on the bench at basketball games waving a towel because their dad has some money to burn?

One of 18 varsity programs at the University of Texas. Keep trying

I doubt this affects basketball coaches, probably just small non-revenue sports

So like I said in my OP, possibly Rick Barnes
Just like Wade possibly cheated
