the 'gump' posted the ones that are recognized on the ncaa website. he clearly said the ncaa recognizes more than the University claims. I knew what you were replying to, and i realized you missed that part so i was correcting you.

I'm not really sure why this is such a big issue:

20's and 30's - Wallace Wade and Frank Thomas had 39-0-1 record in their championship years. Just because they're before the AP doesn't mean they shouldn't be claimed. ('25, '26, '30, '34).
Regardless it doesn't matter. I wasn't alive in the 20's and 30's so I'm not going to kick and scream either way.
I'm not really sure what the claim of people is here. Are they saying we should start history at the AP poll and not count the 20's and 30's. We're having a slap fight over games that happened almost a hundred years ago? Oh well... I love a good slap fight. Where's CPA?
