Nah, I just love watching you guys bend over backwards for this one play while ignoring plenty of calls that went Texas' way. It's deeply amusing.
Did you know that if you wear any shade of orange that targeting rules only apply to the crotch?

frick Texas. We all agree on that.
But that’s not a late hit.

The Tackle literally held his arse off on Bryce Young’s long run on the final drive. Also on Texas’s drive before that they missed a huge face mask to reset the downs an make it first an goal. In the biggest moments of the game Texas got fricked plain an simple. I can’t stand Texas or Bama but an Alabama fan crying about calls is the most laughable thing possible. Just be thankful Ewers got hurt cause he was gonna dick y’all and it wouldn’t have even came down to none of that shite. Just be thankful cause Texas came to play

Yeah I’m so crying , I hate Texas and Bama I wish y’all both could have lost some how. It’s ok you can’t handle a true unbiased assessment of the events that took place. Texas won me money I didn’t need their sorry asses to win just not lose by 21. Hope they lose every game the rest of the year, wish they would stay in Big 12

Even McElroy said it should've been intentional grounding. Guy is practically on the ground. Needs to complete it at that point. Reward the defense for making a great play. A QB getting that at that point is like giving a guy one point for a half court shot that went in and out.

Speaking of defying the laws of physics. Bryce didn't even point his arm in the direction of the receiver, how was the ball going to ever land in that area? Woulda been an easy pick 6 had he tried. That's how you know the midget was trying to game the refs.

No realistic chance for completion. It’s ok cupcake. You got the win.

Why are you asking us? Ask the refs.
FYI I saw Patrick M in the last super bowl he played in do some crazy arse throws while being flipped upside down.
Saban apparently asked the refs what happened:
“ First of all,” he said, “the way they called the play – roughing the quarterback, with targeting. They can’t review roughing the quarterback. That’s not a reviewable. But they did. So, they not only took off the targeting, which there wasn’t any targeting.
“Bryce was not down when he threw the ball. One of their players actually touched the ball, so that [made it not] intentional grounding, and we did have a player in the vicinity. Jase McClellan was in the vicinity.
“So, it never got explained really well, but I'm giving you the facts.
“Maybe it just got announced wrong”
“But I'm not complaining about it, I'm not criticizing anyone. I’m just saying, you asked me what happened, how it got explained to me. That’s basically how it got explained to me.”

We're both well aware about the existence of the REC.
Even Saban admits the [paid off] refs didn't give him a clear answer

This is not what you think it is. McElroy is so desperate to be seen as "not biased" that he basically takes an anti-Alabama stance 80% of the time.

If the game against Texas was played with 1980’s rules then this game Bama would have lost. The refs would probably rules he was in the grasp. I don’t know if that even exists as a rule in college football anymore but really that would do more for player safety than some of the rules they have today. Forward progress isn’t called the way it used to be 20 or 30 years ago. They use to blow the whistle pretty fast once a guy stopped moving forward. Nowadays they really take a very long time to stop the play.

Jesus, why are all you clowns so fricking stupid? If he was down, then it was a late hit. Remember the hit that they stopped and reviewed for 15 minutes for targeting? Did you not even fricking watch the game? It wasn't called a late hit, because he wasn't down. If he had been down, it would have been late.
Seriously...are we going to have to put up with this mind-numbing stupidity every week when you guys join the SEC?

There was no late hit, and you know that. It was a bullshite call on a clean play.
Why is it so hard just to admit you got had a shite call go your way?

And Bama had a pf called against them that shouldn't have been a pf.
Not only that he wasn't outside of the tackle box when he threw it out of the end zone. Which should have been intentional grounding.
And that was just one play the refs completely messed up with Texas getting the benefit of those calls.
Not to mention Will Anderson and Burton being held all game.
Beyond all that even if Texas had been given a safety it doesn't mean they would have won. It wasn't the last play of the game.

He said if Bryce was down it would have been a late hit. Bryce got rid of the ball before his elbow touched. It’s not a question.
Wasn’t it on this very drive that while Bryce and Jayce was lined up in the shotgun a water bottle was thrown and hit Jayce and play had to be stopped to remove it. That play should have been 15 yards right there. Can’t be throwing shite on the field during the game and certainly can’t have players on the playing field about to snap the ball being hit with any object.
