ABC screwed up 2 weeks in a row with their prime time selection.

While LSU at night is the best environment in American sports, they could have took UTa vs UTk or Ole Miss-UF and put LSU-Aggie on ESPN or something.
Next week, they have Miami at Clemson instead of Bama at Moo U.

It’s because they wanted to go head to head against Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff. My guess is that ESPN had higher ratings than Fox did for every time slot.

If fans start leaving in the third quarter in order to "beat traffic across the bridge," regardless of the score, this is an automatic disqualier for best environment in American sports.
All of this "biggest brand in America" and "best environment in American sports" shite makes LSU fans seem like some self counsious weirdos.

Count your blessings. Intentional or otherwise. A casual fan needs to be fresh to watch that type of game. Both teams had to get up today and wonder how the season is playing out at QB. That stuff could permanently damage the retinas.

The networks seem to love Texas in the early spot and LSU at night.
From a convenience standpoint I think the 2:30 game is the perfect balance, but I’m not going to complain about Death Valley at night.
