Maybe it's just me, but I just don't see what others do in Tajh Boyd. I don't think he's anything special in any phase of his game: as a passer, mentally, athletically. He had one good game against LSU, and now people think he's hot shite.

ETA: He's a really good college QB. I just don't see the praise he's getting as a pro prospect

The only reason Murray isn't projected higher in the draft is because of height.

What? Murray's the same height as Boyd...

Oh, you mean the conference championship game that Murray...lost?

Ahhhh...but he was there, wasn't he? Maybe you guys will be there this year. You have a schedule for it. (Not a dig...Georgia has had favorable schedules the last two years)

Actually, Murray is fairly mobile. He did some running in his freshman year and the coaches said they'd prefer he didn't, unless he had to. Injury thing. That said, I think Boyd IS probably more mobile.

They both seem to make some questionable decisions when pressured. Murray seems to be doing better at this...hopefully we will see even more improvement in this area this year.

The fact that Boyd is projected as a top 2-3 NFL pick tells me that he could handle a pro style offense. So I'm not sure if that theory holds much water.

Who is projecting him that high? He's like Quincy Carter with less talent and less drug problems
