Irk if you can call a RS SR a breakout star. He's pretty good, but there's a reason he was never the starter.

And yet A&M is favored by 3. It's going to be a high scoring no defense allowed whoever has the ball last will win type of game. I just want ASU to have the ball last to see A&M fans realize Chavis isn't some magic wizard that can make inferior defensive players somehow great by lining them up in different schemes than a year ago.

Why? I don't know his name, but I know he's much worse than Kyle Allen and much better than Brandon Harris.

Please follow these steps:

1) Go to cfbstats.com
2) Look up "Mike Bercovici"
3) Go to "Game Log"
4) Look at what he did last year in a three week span to UCLA, USC, and Stanford
5) Then come back here and let's talk.

Amazing that A&M folks have literally no idea who this guy is.

ASU is kinda like State from last year. Not a lot of former 5 stars, but a lot of upperclassmen.

I'm perfectly fine with you going into the game as uninformed as possible. That way you will be more surprised and you will melt harder on game day.

Bercovici (ASU) - 12 games, 61.8%, 1445 Yds, 12 TD, 4 INT, 144 Rating

Allen (A&M) - 9 games, 61.5%, 1322 Yds, 16 TD, 7
INT rating 139.5

Pretty even stats. I'd argue Allen would of had quite a few more yards if he played 12 games like ASU's guy, but Allen got better as year went on with exp. Has the RS senior Bercovici hit his ceiling, while Allen is still progressing? Who knows, but it should be a pretty even matchup at QB.

I'm not here to knock Aggie, but rather to praise ASU. They have great qb play, a crazy-good playmaker/reciever and they are physical as hell and well-coached. Plus when you throw in that they match up style-wise and have a gigantic Pac 12 chip on their shoulder and will be playing to win on the road, this game is an absolute TRAP for Aggie.

Love ASU getting points. They're the better team. Will be fun to watch the melt here.

How can you ever classify an opening week game as a trap game? Stellar analysis

Just kidding.
No I'm not.
