Texas A&M leads in 14 of 19 categories, Tennessee leads in 4 of 19, & and there was one tie.

Now I know these aren't equally important stats, but I am shocked how A&M has the advantage in several key areas.

I know the Vols have recovered some crazy number of their own fumbles, something like 8 of 9

Can fumbles per team be accounted for?

I'm more shocked at A&M's abysmal Red Zone offense. With those many yards per game, you should be over 45 ppg... that red zone stalling is going to hurt when you play teams that can keep pace.

WOW!

Tennessee is dead last in football with 15 fumbles already. However they somehow recovered all but 3 of them. That seems like an insane amount of luckiness.

We score a lot of big plays. 12 of our 23 TDs come from outside the redzone. A large majority of the lack of TDs in the redzone came vs Auburn. One game has a pretty big effect on the total when you're not looking at a full season of stats. Still it is a concern.

UT is too good to be blown out by A&M this year. I think Vegas has this around right. A&M wins by a score.

Some teams run fumble drills, it appears UT excels in this. There is some luck involved, which way the ball bounces, but recovering fumbles also has skill involved.

Most of our fumbles have been just a case of dropping the ball moreso than actually getting stripped. The Dobbs fumble vs App State and the two vs Georgia are really the only ones that stick out as actually being forced fumbles, and not simply dropping the ball on the way to the ground

So you just happened to drop the ball 12 other times. That's not a problem at all.

There's no reason A&M should lose this game. With our injuries and slow starts, this game shouldn't even be close. Plus you're at home, we've got Bama next week, we're still busy focusing on Florida/LSU, we're still talking about the Hail Mary, even our backups are injured.

There's no way A&M loses. And that's ok. We beat the 2 teams I wanted to beat already. We'll still probably win 10 games in the regular season, like most of us predicted.

I swear A&M, this one is sitting up on a tee for you, you cannot frick this up.

I almost agree with you.Except the "there is no way" aTm has been the better team so far this year, but there is a reason they play the game. The best team doesn't always win. That being said, I moved the money I put on UF and just doubled downed on aTm. I am apparently the most confident in this pick this week.

0-6 when GameDay is in College Station
Sumlin has lost Game 6 every year after starting 5-0
UT is obviously the team of destiny this year.

No way UT losses this game. I have UT by 11. I'd move it to 7 if Garrett was 100%
