I'm not so sure about that anymore.
Monds is a decent qb, but the new and improved Jalen Hurts is considerably better.

Im fairly certain we were pretty strongly in the mix when he was coming out of high school. Might be a chance there.
Im torn on Mond; i cant tell if he’s iceman or moon moon. He plays like both at times. If Jimbo can get a little more consistency out of him he could be pretty damn good.
The recievers need to work on that too; they disappear for long stretches

I dont know if we ever officially had a verbal from him, but our insiders were very confident we would get him before he verballed to Bama

I ragged Jalen pretty hard from the middle of his freshman year to this year, and especially after it was obvious last year(to those with a clue) that Tua was better.
He has improved, though, a hell of a lot, I suppose due to Dan Enos. I hope the best for him here out. I bet he'd make a great coach. Who knows, he may be Alabama's coach someday.

I think Jalen realizes that he will never be a starting nfl qb, and I think coaching is his real plan. I wouldn't be surprised if he stays and ends up a grad assistant coach on Saban's staff after he gets cut from an NFL team.
