I've never seen a team brag about losses before. You have one loss to a good team. The other team, Clemson is way overrated

The people actually voting by and large don't analyze what they are doing. They just look at their last weeks ranking, and move down teams that lost, and MAYBE move up a team or two that had a surprising win. Everybody else just moves up when someone in front of them loses and drops back some spots.

So pretty much the most critical thing in the AP and Coaches polls are #1) start ranked high or #2) Beat someone ranked really high. So basically when you are in the early to middle portion of the year now, the top teams are all just teams that either started out ranked high, or teams who are getting extra credit for beating teams that were way overrated in the early polls.

I think UK should be 13 and A&M 14. NC State hasn't played anyone, Washington's loss to Auburn looks bad now, and WVU is way, way overrated.

A&M has about the "best" two losses a team could have, as well as a win over a current top 15 team. Meanwhile, Washington has a loss to a currently unranked Auburn, and their biggest win was vs BYU. (Also unranked.) Which leads me to my question. Why do the AP/Coaches Poll put so much weight on the rankings at the time of the game and not current? I assume once the committee ranking drops, A&M may be considerably higher in the ranking, especially if UK continues to help a brother out by climbing in the polls.

The opinions of those who matter more say otherwise.

Washington Huskies are the two-loss champs this week bubs.

We’ll figure out another moral championship for you though. Like best 78-yard rusher this week: Travaytheon Willhams.
