A&M has about the "best" two losses a team could have, as well as a win over a current top 15 team.

Meanwhile, Washington has a loss to a currently unranked Auburn, and their biggest win was vs BYU. (Also unranked.)

Which leads me to my question. Why do the AP/Coaches Poll put so much weight on the rankings at the time of the game and not current?

I assume once the committee ranking drops, A&M may be considerably higher in the ranking, especially if UK continues to help a brother out by climbing in the polls.

Maybe y'all should have won those games if you wanted to be ranked higher

It'll be interesting to see the playoff rankings in a few weeks.

Trust that by the season’s end the committee will recognize Aggie as the absolute best 5-loss team.

You assume the rankings have anything to do with current wins. If that were the case, Bama would not be #1.

However, we all damn well know Bama is #1. I bet even you can figure that out.

The rankings are more about projection than anything else.

I assume you realize you won’t find decent (any?) discussion here .

We still have enough great games remaining on the schedule that should allow the team to rise (or fall) in the polls accordingly.

Honestly we should bring back the BCS. There should be at least some objectivity in the process.

A&M has a fair ranking and is subjective. UW lost 2 very close games. Alabama beat the frick out of A&M so there is that. UK win probably is better than anything Washington has though.

It doesn't get more pathetic than touting your losses...until you tout your best win as beating UK.

So much this. We dropped 75 M over 10 years so we could have a single ranked win to brag about in 2018 thru 2027.
