No, if A&M is a pussy team for refusing Texas now, what does that make Texas for throwing a tantrum and refusing the first time around?

It's like expecting a guy to hold out for a certain girl for several years. Who would do that?

I don't think anyone particularly cares how it "comes across."
Anyone who knows what actually happened gets it.
I'm at a loss as to why some of you care.

Texas refused and made a HUGE deal about it. Baylor sued A&M. Mack did not want to lose 89-3 to Manziel and his Aggies and even was prepared to not play in the Cotton Bowl.

Now they are coming back. and they always will. They are rich bitch.

So now they want to talk shite and get into SEC recruiting. Watch - ESPN will back them as a shareholder of 300 mill.

I will say this. Other SEC teams should not want Texas in this garden at all.

But again. Idiots.

I don't really see a strategic reason for the Ags to play Texas. Let Bevo wallow around in their horses**t B12 schedule while A&M gets multiple high profile national TV matchups in the SEC every year. Bevo's one decent OOC game this year was put on the LHN so pretty much no one saw it. Things are just about perfect for the Ags right now, why change things?

Mizzou ku is a bit different because ku fits perfectly with Pinkel's strategy of scheduling early OOC cupcakes to work out the kinks for the later big games. If the beaks ever want to play again, I'd think Mizzou would take them up on the offer.

You're probably right, Rocket. Unfortunately, playing teams like Indiana and Toledo will benefit us more. MU should not give KU an opportunity to play on a national stage. Really only benefits them.

provided it doesn't somehow end up on the LHN the aggies should go ahead and play them - rivalry games are good for college football.

I'm not the least bit worried about ku benefiting from playing Mizzou. It would take a miracle from above to get that program competitive again. And would a 56-3 early season beatdown on the SEC Network really benefit them?

Texas vs A&M would be a different story and could theoretically help the Longhorns.

Good for fans.

Texas fans have nothing.

A&M fans are out of control. Building to 102,000 without the need for Texas.

Texas can play TCU with 18,000 at the game and have a huge home schedule of Kansas, Iowa St., Baylor and K. State.

Our foot is on their neck. Why give them any press. In the state of Texas their games are barely watched.

Its Business - Texas had its chance but was ONLY BUSINESS. Ran off Nebraska, Colorado, Mizzou and A&M - and turns out they were so stupid and arrogant, why would we give them any spotlight or headlines? A&M is the shite in Texas. Let them read about Texas v. Baylor on the back page and A&M vs. Bama, LSU Auburn, Ark, Ole Miss, Fla, S.C.

We are all right. Thx though. Especially the Bama crowd - crazy schedule yall play yall should get in peoples grill.

Agreed.

aTm: "I'm tired of you mistreating me and I want to break up."
Texas: "Oh you want to break up? Well you can't break up with me because I break up with you first. I never want to see you again."
aTm: "But I still want to be friends and we should see each other occasionally. We have too much of a history to end things so suddenly."
Texas: "But I don't want to. You hurt my feelings."
....2 years pass....
Texas: "I have not been able to to move on without you and I am hurting. Can we at least hang out once a year or so?"
aTm: "Oh so now you want to hang out? I used to want that but now that you want that, I don't want that anymore."

Only in Texas.......what a weird state.

F Texas. They killed the series. They don't get to decide when to restart it. A&M will restart it on A&M's terms.

If the Aggies play the thugs from Bama and LSU, they have nothing to fear from the sissy arse longwhorns.

Bama - again with schedule.

You have schedule to thank for your fortunes.

Here is the thing. Everybody knows it.

The emperor is naked.

Cocks - you are The Oneders

Yall play good games now but you are South Carolina. You will be swallowed up soon and take your rightful spot ahead of Vandy and Kentucky.

The shite talking - I just don't see it.

You do understand you guys didn't play auburn for like 40 years over a dispute over refs right? Being an Alabama or auburn fan and calling us out over this is insane

LSU guy - think if one of the top 3 teams of all time was in Louisiana and you finally got the jump. You would schedule it.

LSU wouldn't schedule La. Tech when they are good.

The Texas state legislature will eventually get involved to get the game going again. The Alabama state legislature had to threaten to pull funding from both schools in order to get the Iron Bowl renewed.

Both schools make so much money from a permanent and untouchable fund, that this won't ever be a catalyst. Both universities are in the top ten of all endowments in the entire country.

Better yet. Had this been about us offering to play them again and them still not wanting to, this whole thread would be full with "look how obsessed aggy is with big brother. New conference but they still want to play them"
