I can't wait for the 30 for 30 on the Lone Star Showdown. I don't know how you can give an unbiased view, or who would be allowed to shoot it, but let's be honest... it's more intense than the Iron Bowl, and it will put the Updike shite to shame.

Game will eventually come back and I will welcome it. But it is way too toxic on both sides right now

Considering they'd only do if it paints them in a positive light, I really doubt it will ever be made

Texas has to air at least 3-4 games a year on LHN.

That currently means their OOC games and a conference game go on it.

We partly left the Big 12 b/c of the LHN due to how incredibly unfair it was to the rest of the conference financially.

So for us to play Texas again the #1 thing that would have be be hashed out is what network the game would be played on.

We are not going to want to give them a game that helps them sell their network so if they aren't willing to play on the Big 12s regular TV deal we are not going to play them at all.

I imagine they would feel the same way about eh game potentially ending up on the SEC Network.

So let an Aggie make it. Don't we have an army at Pixar?

Regarding LHN -

1. We want our fans to be able to watch our team play without having to order the LHN.

2. We don't want to support a program that is used as a recruiting tool in recruiting battles against us

3. frick that noise

Won't see the time of day at ESPN. They're not going to paint their investment in a bad light.

We would never in a billion trillion years allow a single second of any Aggie athletic event to air on the LHN

You say that now, but what about when that new AD who was over in Pac-12/Fox land tells ESPN to frick off?

Do two minutes of Googling, YeaSewanees.
Our administration bent over backwards to make that game work.

Too bad.
They had their shot.

Do you even realize how pathetic and childish this sounds?

You, and the rest of this whole thread, would be saying the exact opposite if we decided to play them . And you are calling us the childish ones? Dear Lord

lol whatever. just go read their responses too. We still hate each other right now and the game is not going to happen for either side, this whole discussion is pointless.

So what changed in a year?

They suck, get no TV exposure, and have the shittiest home schedule of all top 25 all-time programs, due solely to their arrogance and bullshite. They created a shitty bed to sleep in and tried to do it at our expense. Why give them ANY spotlight that they so desperately need but don't even come close to deserving?

We're scared little bitches and chickenshit. We're quacking in our corps boots. We are shaking the gak out of our jizz jars at the tought of playing the sips. Yes. We skeer'd.

Still not playing them.
