jake, you seem like one of the smarter tiggers, but that's sort of like being the tallest midget.
Since we've already played LSU, how many olineman were out for them is rather superfluous to the question at hand. Comparing stats on a game played as reference to the quality of a defense in an upcoming game, and referencing differences in personnel, is in fact, germane to the conversation. HTH

La Tech put up 57 against them so I like our chances. Genuinely concerned but I think we can out score them.
There's not a player on your roster as dynamic as our top 5.
And La. Tech should not be your barometer for offensive success.

I'll start worrying about State when General Patton gets to suit up for them and 3 of our starting DBs don't

While you you be correct about the defensive ability would be affected by certain players out, my earlier point, MSU is a far better offense than LSU and will put far more pressure on you all than LSU. They have a legit QB and did move the ball on Bama at times. Could have been 3 tds on that d. So I have seen both teams play and just believe MSU is a better team than everyone gives them credit for. They gave LSU FITS last season when they mauled everyone but Bama. Sorry to bust your bubble.

La tech is gonna win 12 games this year. That WR Patton is better than anything we've seen in the SEC this year.

You know why Patton is good? Because they don't play against SEC defenses. Offenses win games. Defense wins championships. TAMU will learn that soon enough.
I used to respect the wrecking crew with Dat Nguyen and all. TAMU needs better then what they got.

He played 1 SEC defense. Had a better day than any SEC receiver against that defense.
And A&M's D is #39 in the country in yards per play. They're not great, but pretty good.

He was chosen in the draft 2 yet drafts ago. But I say it is Jarvis Jones of UGA.

Just becuase A & M was allowed in the SEC doesn't mean they automatically now have an "SEC" defense. Plus, any team, SEC or not, that gives up close to 60 points to a CUSA? type team has a shitty defense, therefore any stats used are null/void.

They will get theirs on offense and I don't see state's offense keeping up. Sumlin's got that offense rolling right now.
Will be interesting to see how state comes back after getting pounded. Like I said, I dont think they keep up.
