Go back to your Big 12 Shithole sip. I realize that your zebra assisted win last year was the highlight of highlights for your program but control your agsession. I do like how you brought up a video from an OT game that was over 100 degrees (when A&M sucked btw) and had people going to the hospital from the heat as an example of lack of fan support
Which is most of your history. Enjoy the limelight Ags - hope we meet in Cotton Bowl - Bring on JMFF.

Congrats on drawing almost 500 more people than UH did.
You guys got that traveling down.

So you crack on Texas fans for bringing 25,000 fans to the Rose Bowl (the fourth time in seven years that the Longhorns played in that stadium)?

Bowl games are more concerned about TV ratings because this is where the big money is coming from
Show me where A&M has an advantage in this. Not hypotheticals... lets look at the actual games over the past decade. It will be a short conversation.

I want to watch them keep trying. Ive already got this thread bookmarked...

No one is "trying" anything. You people simply cannot be this stupid.
I said in the OP that the Cotton Bowl made more sense for A&M.
Just so you and the rest of the idiots that have been posting the asinine assertion that this is somehow our idea. Here are some links:

Now you can bookmark this and send this to the people that wrote and published the articles. If A&M ends up in Cotton Bowl, that would make sense to me. I already bought my tickets so that would be right in line with my expectations.
I simply asked that IF LSU ends up in the Cotton Bowl, would you guys think that it had anything to do with Texass politicking behind the scenes not to play A&M? Only about 2 LSU fans had enough common sense to answer the questions with going into a state of hysteria and screaming like a little girl.
Get a grip, check yourselves, and man the frick up.
Talk about thread hijacking.

Add another website/football analyst that says A&M is the most likely 2 loss SEC team to go to the BCS
Might as well add another 100 posts from LSU fans saying A&M fans are dillusional.
LSU fans are going to be explaining how LSU beat A&M, how A&M really beat Bama thanks to LSU, how TV ratings work, how many ticket allotment requests they will make, how smart their AD is, how well they travel, how much better gold & Purple looks on TV, god's gift to college football.. etc.. etc... etc... etc.. etc...
LSU fans really should be calling the national media, they are the one's projecting this stuff, not us.
I bought my Cotton Bowl tickets 10 days ago. Have not bought Fiesta Bowl tickets. Yet.

Ags in Fiesta is most likely going to happen.
You do realize it is the least likely to happen, right?
Not a flame but you'll need the most to happen out of anyone. If Bama loses to UGA, then LSU will go no matter what. LSU will still likely go regardless. If UF wins out, then it is over for everyone. Don't really know what you are looking at to suggest you are most likely. You have the heads up loss to LSU and to UF. I think both UF, LSU and UGA all have to lose for Texas to have that spot. Very unlikely.

Yall really are completely and utterly delusional.

I'm not so sure about that. The Fiesta and ESPN would take a real hard look at Texas A&M mainly because of Johnny Football. After 1 vs 2 and the conference champs with tie-ins are slotted, there are no real rules other than two from one conference.
Posted on 11/15/12 at 1:36 pm to ShreveportHog94
And I know heads up doesn't matter in BCS, but it was the same way with Arkansas and LSU in 2010. Arkansas lost to Bama and LSU beat Bama. Arkansas beat LSU and went to the Sugar bowl instead of LSU. UF, LSU and AM all are about the same in terms of travel and $$. The Fiesta will be very fair in this. UF controls its destiny and LSU is sitting in at number 2.
