Look, dude, you’re not going to win the “my school is straighter than your school” argument.

Half your male enrollment has prolapsed assholes from all the buttfricking.

And the other half identifies as female.

L If you name an interim then you can kiss any 2025 success goodbye. The job because a lot less attractive.

If you hire Earley then you have a chance next year. If it doesn’t work out the change will be cheaper than committing big money to someone you don’t fully believe in but need to “money whip” to get.

I think most believe in Earley. This is just a big job for the first time.

Would you have hired Tony V in 2015 knowing what you know now? Probably too early, but in the end you end up with an elite coach. I think this is the vibe with Earley. Incredible hitting coach. Being looked at as a potential HC for a few years (smaller school options). The ceiling is there, but so is the floor since he’s never done it.

In a perfect world you hire a top pitching guy with experience to be the HC and make Earley the AHC. Best of both worlds.

You seem way too focused on just 2025. This is a 4+ year hire, not just next year. Most those players will be gone after 2025. Ask USC how hiring Ray Tanners side kick worked out for them.

Schoss did the same thing and Aggies hate him for it.

Choosing the best option for him? Thats fine. It sucks. But it’s fine.

Not giving it your all (not intentionally but divided focus on the field and clearing not caring off the field in recruiting). Recruiting for another team is the really wild part. That is what pissed me off and I assume what most Aggies are upset about. You know that but you’re doing your whole bit. Keep it up.

If it means having the best shot possible to win a title then I’m all for pushing the chips in for 2025.

I would agree, if this were true, so far it's just been rumors started by butthurt Aggies.

Early on, those same butthurt Aggies were saying the entire staff was involved in those conversations. Now, conveniently, the narrative has changed to Earley didn't know anything and had no choice but to go.

Winning a title is really hard. You can have the best team and not make it to Omaha. Pushing all your chips in, ignoring long term success, again, is short sighted. A&M is not a program that needs to gamble on a guy with no experience. The program is better than that.

More information comes out. Opinions change. Why is A&M not trying to interview Cain? He was the associate HC. Players liked him too. Why did Max start following certain people on social during the CWS but not Earley? Why did everyone update their socials, but Earley?

I saw some posts on TexAgs that indicated he isn't interested in being a head coach right now, so perhaps he didn't want to interview.

It's also worth mentioning that Kendall Rogers has been very doubtful of the rumors you've mentioned.

This is pretty weak, IYAM

So now your believing random TexAgs posters yet ignore what former players and Aggie insiders report?

Seems like an argument somebody extremely insecure would try to make. I’m just laughing at the glass house you’re throwing stones from

At this point, I’m definitely sensing some projection if this is your go-to response on a sports message board. like I said… seems insecure

And you wonder why coaches are turned off at the idea of being employed at your school

No, I said that could be the reason, not that it was.

Anything reported on the TexAgs platform is questionable at best.

Kendall Rogers just said that Texas A&M may keep all their players from the portal. Hinting at Earley?

If A&M is able to hire Earley back as either AHC or HC, this is a huge victory over Schloss. It completely ruins his and CDC plans to become Texas A&M baseball but in Austin. We wil absolutely maintain our roster and royally screw Schloss.

Many people do not realize that Schloss was NOT highly involved with his players. It was the assistant coaches that are the core of the team. Schloss simply eats bananas in the dug out and maintains a horrible grin.

This entire thing is likely to backfire on Texas, especially when the facts are revealed and they have to answer directly to the big, bold lies.

They really screwed up handling this. A bunch of idiots as it all fell apart less than 24 hrs before the announcement. And what's sad is that they could have easily avoided this if Schloss wasnt such an emotional mess. Well known about him.

No one in Aggieland wants Schloss back. He assistants are totally different. Go look up Earley and his success as a AHC and batters coach. Always loved my players and he has developed some real studs including a #1 MLB pick. He also happens to be one HELL of a recruiter. Go ask Gaven and Jace who is their man! No mention of Schloss being a key developer or mentor from a single player.

Go see what all the former players of Schloss are now posting about him as a coach and leader (of lack of).

Do you think Schloss is teaching hitter? Pitching? Or defense? Hell NO. He is a game time manager and recruiter.

I personally believe that our AD knew about the internal complaints about Schloss. Several players parents have come out about him. So Trev Alberts didnt try to stop him leaving knowing he is not the key to the teams success. Players have supporter this on social media. We can scheme just as well as the dildos in Austin. Gonna be funny with Schloss has to rebuild everything from stratch. He aint getting a new stadium anytime soon....this is a fact.

Little coaching knowledge in this thread, mostly just the two gayest schools arguing about who is less ghey. So strange

You guys may want to start deleting some of the comments you left on the assistant's social media pages now that you've changed your stance.
