Texas and Missouri combined have a population of 34.8 million. The other 9 SEC states combined are 63.6 million.
The SECN would never come close to making anywhere near what it makes now without A&M and Mizzou. I'm sorry but A&M and Mizzou joining the conference was a massive financial windfall for every single SEC member. Getting the SECN on basic cable in Texas and Missouri was a huge deal for the conference.

All that is considered in expansion is new TVs in new markets. I could see TCU, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech, or NC State being added to the conference long before GA Tech, Clemson, or FSU for that reason

I severely underestimated Fisher last year - what he did with Sumlin’s spread recruits was impressive. Still, cannot see better than 8-4.
