This is 100% false.

Chlidress left the cupboard bare and Yeskie did a good job with your staff in 2022. Dallas and Palisch were big losses, Prager had TJ, and the transfers didn’t pan out in 2023. Not many coaches would have had better results with your staff last year.

Yeah, a 30 year old coaching at this level for the first time in his life was obviously a better hire than a CWS champion.

Yeskie had the opportunity to stay at A&M and chose to go to LSU. It’s ok to admit that.

Ok, believe what you want.

And A&M didn’t fight to keep him after LSU started sniffing around. Read into that what you will.

We were bad at pitching last year. I saw every game. How do you have that opinion without watching our season? I swear y’all lie and then believe your own lies.

How many A&M games did you watch to reach that conclusion? What pitchers did we have to give you that hope? Wow..

’m not poking fun. I’m legit asking a question. I’m wondering if our new pitching coach is going to handicap us late in the season.

bullshite, all you do on here is stir shite. Self awareness is not your strong suit.

Doesn’t matter what I believe. The facts are that he’s had a reputation his entire career as a coach that uses analytics. That didn’t just change when he got to A&M, and if it did, it wasn’t his decision.

This is false, Schlossnagle was quoted after the season that the entire coaching staff would return in ‘24 and was visibly upset when Yeskie left, as evidenced by his statement on Yeskie’s departure.

I watched many. Did you even read my post? Where did I say that you had good pitching last year?

It's the retarded way of every college fanbase who almost always hate their football coordinators and baseball hitting and pitching coaches. LSU fans--on here anyway--turned on Dave Aranda and wanted to run him out of town in '19. Hated all of Paul's hitting coaches. Hell, a bunch on here hated Wes Johnson for a good part of last season. Fans are retards. And as a fan of LSU, I wouldn't be so quick to poke fun at A&M fans for hating on Yeskie. There will 100% be a time this year that LSU fans feel the same way about him. We are no better and this thread fricking sucks.

The average fan doesn't know jack shite about coaching.

Coaches receive far too much blame for losses and far too much credit for wins.

so much wrong with this. starting with nathan dettmer... was touted as an 1/2 rd pick after his frosh year and regressed every year. Jonathan childress was a top 100 prospect that forgoed the draft in HS and never developed (transferred). khristian curtis was their best young arm, and transferred after one season w/ yeskie. carson lambert was a stud at southern cal, their best pitcher. one year at A&M under yeskie was the worst of his career. even will johnston regressed every year under yeskie.

A&Ms best pitcher last year, evan aschenbeck, was going to be cut from the team by yeskie. it was schloss that stepped in and said no.

you can be happy hes yalls coach, but spinning his tenure at A&M as anything other than a disaster is disingenious. he was a demonstrable failure.

It was such a failure that you were 1 win away from the CWS Finals

Well Yeskie probably told him he was going to stay. Like most Ags have said we had no huge problems with Yeskie. Last year was a really poor year for our pitching staff but Yeskie is a proven commodity. One off year didn’t mean we wanted him gone. It was a good get for LSU. However with Schloss as the head man we are not worried about our program. He is one of top collegiate baseball minds in the country.

Good post, I agree with everything you said.

Yeskie didn’t have the opportunity to stay at A&M. Schloss wasn’t happy with him. Like I said, good for both schools.

Yeah, which is exactly why Schloss was quoted as saying all coaches will return in ‘24.

Y’all really need to stop believing everything you read on TexAgs
