A&M is protecting their recruiting turf and I don't blame them.
There will be plenty of other SEC teams coming into Texas more than they have in the past. The last thing A&M should want is to provide a large stage for opponents to showcase their program. If they were winning the games, it wouldn't matter as much. They don't see themselves winning for a while so they will fight having games in Dallas and Houston.
The biggest winners in Jerry's World has been teams outside of the Ark-A&M game anyway. The Oregon-LSU game was probably the biggest game there this season. Mich-Bama will be the biggest next season as well.

A&M is going to play its SEC home games at home. It's as simple as that. Playing a neutral site game with Arkansas in Dallas was predicated on the game being a non-conference game. Bascially, it was sold to the fans as an opportunity to see a marquee out of conference matchup as opposed to a "buy" game against a directional school. Now that we're both in the same conference, that is no longer the case.
A&M sold out Kyle Field for available season tickets this year. Maintaining an attractive home schedule will allow us to continue selling out season tickets, and that is hugely important. If we tell our fans that we're only getting three conference home games every other year (and that they have to buy four tickets against directional schools as part of that season ticket package), that might be a hard sell.
If the league ever goes to a 9 game schedule, I'd be willing to reconsider the neutral site issue, but I'd prefer to play home and home. I haven't been to Fayetteville in 20 years and am looking forward to a return trip.

Lol...I forgot the part where we've lost the last two games by a combined 11 points.
I'm a bit baffled, though. It seems that of our 5 close losses in '11, only Arkansas fans don't realize that they were simply one of a handful of teams in which A&M was able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against....But that's why I like you guys. You're delightfully ignorant.

You would think it would be an easy draw being in the same state every year and all.
Texas does not have this problem.

Decent point, just not applicable to Arkansas.

Dale, where did Arky finish in attendance this year? I know you don't really have a big stadium but what about what percentage of capacity and what not?

Aggie logic at work right there. Not the brightest fan base around.

A win is a win, correct. You gentlemen just don't quite have the cognitive ability to deduce more than the alphabetical letter symbolizing the result....which again, makes you delightfully ignorant.

End of thread. If there are any piggies who can't grasp this, then there may be no hope for them.

Cheshire, we both know that simply isn't true...although I do wish that a poster of your quality represented Arky more on this site.

Apparently you do not know shite about anything.
Kyle Field has a capacity of 83,000, DWR-RS has a capacity of 72,000 and is expandable to 80,000 with this expansion normally settling in the 76,000 mark.

100.13% average capacity this season.
