Not me. I dont care about a loss that didnt real mean anything.
Now if we lose to aggy and they actually get a title that might be more depressing. It's like losing to miss st really. They atleast been to Atlanta.

unfortunately, you are probably correct.
we're gonna get shafted and have 2 of our 3 biggest games every year taken from us.

Only one is still relevant in the SEC. aTm can go play in the little kids division with SCar and Kentucky.

Rumor is Mizzou is getting matched with Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Texas A&M with Mizzou, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Oklahoma with Texas, Texas A&M, and Mizzou.
Texas with Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Texas A&M with Mizzou, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Oklahoma with Texas, Texas A&M, and Mizzou.
Texas with Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Those are decent options
Also implying Arkansas has Texas, Missouri, and speculatively either Ole Miss or LSU
ETA: mistyped A&M instead of Missouri for whatever reason.

Arky, Ole Miss, and one of the Texas schools
Posted on 8/26/25 at 1:52 pm to truth22
i have no desire to play A&M every year. OM and Bama is what I want and if I had my choice it would be between Auburn/Florida for the other. I think the SEC will give us MS though bc we have played them more than any other opponent in sec.

Yall could have just made you conference better. Dont cry now
I think the big six should get 2 picks of teams first.
If you not big six you get the leftovers

Thats fricking terrible for A&M.
We have 81 games w/Pig and 63 w/LSU.
OU is only at 31 matchpus and Mizzou is just 17. May as well keep the forced USCe game or go w/Miss State for an all maroon pairing at that point.

It would mean Arkansas has Texas, Mizzou, and 1 more

I wouldn't blame A&M for being upset not getting either one of Arkansas or LSU
Posted on 8/26/25 at 3:27 pm to truth22
It would make sense. But so would LSU/Florida, LSU/Ole Miss, LSU/Alabama. It will come down to what Sankey wants, and he will talk to Texas and Alabama before making any decisions.

Texas A&M with Mizzou, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Oklahoma with Texas, Texas A&M, and Mizzou.
Texas with Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
I filled in the rest based on these assumptions, and the chart seems to work where everyone will be reasonably happy..
well I guess A&M wouldn't be happy..
---- the argument why LSU and A&M aren't paired
1 - LSU must have Arkansas or Oklahoma for Thanksgiving.
2 - LSU must have Ole Miss.
3 - LSU wants Alabama, Florida, Auburn and then A&M for their 3rd, in that order (according to a post below this and from what I have seen others say).. LSU gets Florida.
---- the argument why Arkansas and A&M aren't paired
1 - Arkansas has to have LSU or Mizzou for Thanksgiving.
2 - Arkansas wants Texas.
3 - Arkansas wants Ole Miss, Texas A&M and then Mizzou in that order..
But.. someone has to play Mizzou.
1 - Oklahoma
2 - Texas is already full. Oklahoma already scheduled. SC already full. Texas A&M and Arkansas are left holding the bag.
3 - Arkansas
So yeah, I don't see another way around it, unless Mizzou can somehow land South Carolina, but I'm guessing GA & FL are going to win that fight.

as an LSU fan, my preference would be Bama, Ole Miss, and Florida/Auburn

1 - Arkansas - You have to play a Thanksgiving opponent. I realize your fan base wants Tulane, but if you do that, that leaves Arkansas out in the cold holding their dicks since Oklahoma and Mizzou get matched up.
2 - Preference: Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, Auburn. Alabama is already full. Ole Miss is #2.
3 - Preference: Alabama, Florida, Auburn. Alabama is already full. Florida is #3.
Why is Alabama full?
Because they don't want 3 Big 6 permanent opponents and Auburn & Tennessee are #1 and #2..

Why would A&M be paired with Oklahoma? That also does not make sense
Posted on 8/26/25 at 4:13 pm to Nutriaitch
My preference setting aside any thought of the three I would want A&M to have, ends up being one of the two versions below. The first version adheres to geography mostly after getting in the truly traditional rivalry games. The second version is more based on the more modern "poll" aspect of fans picking the games they want (ie its the "LSU has to have Alabama!" whiners get what they want version).
Version 1:
Alabama: Auburn, Tennessee, Miss State
Arkansas: Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri
Auburn: Alabama, Georgia, Florida
Florida: Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina
Georgia: Florida, Auburn, South Carolina
Kentucky: Tennessee, Vanderbilt, South Carolina
LSU: Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Miss State
Ole Miss: Miss State, LSU, Vanderbilt
Miss State: Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU
Missouri: Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas A&M
Oklahoma: Texas, Missouri, Arkansas
South Carolina: Georgia, Florida, Kentucky
Tennessee: Alabama, Vanderbilt, Kentucky

Oklahoma: Texas, Missouri, Miss State
South Carolina: Georgia, Kentucky, Florida
Tennessee: Alabama, Vanderbilt, Kentucky
