Again thanks for joining The SEC. Everyone is recruiting well in Texas and you don’t get anyone of note from other states, big money from SEC network and easy win on the field.

Well you sort of have to recruit Texas since all your good players leave Louisiana despite you being the single power 5 team there.

Hey we enjoy the money too, the attention, and the chance to possibly hire big time coaches (even if they don't work out).
Prior to the SEC move we were THIS CLOSE to slipping behind Texas Tech in the state's pecking order in our state. Thanks to us being the SEC team of Texas our floor is now above their ceiling.
You almost can't overestimate how much the SEC move helped our program. Thanks for taking a chance on us Bama!

It's minimal compared to the full on invasion LSU, UT, and Ohio State have had in the past couple of years

Fair enough, maybe we did. Now we are so far ahead of every Big 12 team not named Texas or OU it is not even funny.
Poor fricking TCU can rip off one amazing season after another and still can't out recruit us even after we have an average season. Here we sit locked in as number 2 (at worst) in Texas thanks to Bama's decision to let us into the SEC and we won't forget that.
