The so-called academia’s at Vandy have taken a University with many athletic blessings and turned the program into the laughing stock it is. Vandy is a wealthy University with almost a 7 billion dollar endowment. It operates 4 hospitals, owns a mid-rise hotel, a stellar golf course in pristine Franklin, an off campus observatory and employs over 20,000 employees. Nashville is a city any recruit would want to play in, especially given it would be in the SEC. Furthermore, expecting high academic achievement among recruits is a positive, not a negative.Yet the Progressives in their supreme wisdom have destroyed something that could be the source of great community pride, all because football and the Southern culture offends their identity. The only way for Vandy to have longevity in football success would be to clean out the poisonous idealism. That would take an act of God. Hopefully he is listening.

You summed it well. There is no legit reason to not want a good football team with the resources Vandy has.

I feel for you guys, honestly. I would love to see Vandy on the college football map.
I wouldn't use "act of God" however. We have seen programs fall from grace and some horrible ones that crawled out of the coach roach den

I’ll never forget the time a purple haired vandy student asked me on a crisp October day in Nashville why everyone on campus was wearing red and drinking outside.

Yep. Look at Northwestern. They have more resources, overall, but "tomayto, tomahto." They've built a nice program.

It is tragic. But the controllers have so brainwashed the whites that they have no agency. That 13 minute video I linked is very good to describe the situation. Nothing will happen until things get really bad, and as history shows it will likely lead to a radical transformation of life.

I guess the days of beating Tennessee are over. It was a good run, though.

See Georgia Tech. Not an annual juggernaut, but competitive from time to time. Tech is as resourced and nerdy (if not more) than Vandy.
