Yes, you know what will happen. You just don't want to admit it to us. You could beat Northwestern by 100, and it wouldn't trump a 1 point revenge win by Oklahoma over a Texas team that's ranked higher than Northwestern. If OU and OSU both win, the committee has told you who goes first. You just don't want to admit it.

I'll bet there's not a Sooner or Bucknut in the country that'll be pulling for Georgia to win Saturday...that tells you enough!

No we don't. Georgia and Oklahoma wins don't make Alabama and Oklahoma locks for the playoff.

No, but Georgia and Oklahoma wins keep Ohio State out. That's a fact. And you know it.

I doubt it would be much of a discussion. I mean if Alabama wins, then it is a lock that Alabama, ND and Clemson are in. (Assuming, of course Clemson wins)

That leaves it between Oklahoma and OSU. When you compare the losses, it wouldn't be a difficult decision for the committee. You are looking at a Oklahoma loss to a ranked team against an OSU loss against a 6-6 team.
Then, for the conference championship games you would have OSU playing an 8-4 #21 team while Oklahoma would have beaten a 9-3 #14 Texas team. Where exactly do you see room for Ohio State to jump above Oklahoma?

We need to bring back picking champions by who sold the most newspapers the next day. The writers probably got it right 8 out of 10 years and there weren't a mess of teams every year diminishing otherwise successful seasons because they were left out of a money grab based on their relative value compared to other programs.

You might be right. I just think the pressure will be there to not have two. However, you very well could be correct.

Probably putting too much emphasis on football. Oklahoma isn't worth as much money as tOSU to the value of the CFP scenario. Just a guess, but the metrics they use to understand such things I suspect tOSU is 2 or 3 in those metrics and Oklahoma probably falls 6-10.

No, I don't. Anyone who says they know hasn't been paying attention to the committee for the last several years.

I remember when #3 TCU thought the same thing. Remember that?

I remember.

You'd lose...again.

I hope Bama wins. I hope we get in.

If you think I'm bad now, wait until Urban beats your asses...again.

Doesn't bother me 1 bit either way to be honest.
I get that to be the best, you have to beat the best.
I'm happy that we get a chance this saturday.

The fact is that the ccg is more than just a normal game.

Are you serious?

You cited losses, and Texas vs. Northwestern which aren't as far apart as you want them to be. The committee considers a lot more than that.

How is that relevant? Tcu didn’t have a conference title game, it didn’t win the big 12 outright, actually lost to the co champ, it wasn’t a helmet school, Ohio st had to play a respected program ranked #13, and Ohio state didn’t have a blowout loss to a bad team.

You made this comment:

The committee told TCU who went first, too.

We saw how that ended up.

The committee has said that right now, they have Oklahoma at 5 and us at 6...and that's pretty much it.

You not answering the questions speaks volumes. The rankings show they consider ou better based on 12 weeks. There is only one more game to consider and y’all aren’t playing the better opponent.

they are in rankings and Texas has fewer losses, so....

They have Oklahoma ranked higher right now. What would change after Saturday if Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma and OSU all win?

You answered with a lazy question, and then u didn’t list anything under what the committee considers that will change with one more game. Then you ignored my final point.

No they aren't. They're seven spots apart, despite the difference in records.

So indeed. UCF also has fewer losses...

So...

They sure do. That means almost nothing for Sunday.
