A source close to #LSU WR Kayshon Boutte told https://lsuodyssey.com that Boutte is "fine", no injuries, and isn't playing vs Purdue because he is "focused on his senior season" & "isn't risking anything". #LSUOdyssey
More than understandable.

frick that guy. He's full of shite.

If you are focused on your senior season, you get your arse out there right now, put the work in and improve. The only thing you are focused on by sitting out is everything but football.

I'm no LSU fan, but they deserve better than that.

LSU Odyssey is a random guy with a blog.

He made an arse of himself multiple times during the baseball and football coaching searches.

It’s going to start happening, regardless of whether it’s true in this case.

And the fans will be expected to tolerate and, eventually, celebrate this sort of bullshite from “student”-athletes.

That's ok... I'm sure quite a few people made an arse of themselves.

Some of them maybe for the same reasons!

I have no issue whatsoever with players who are going pro sitting out non playoff bowls. A player supposedly coming back for at least another year at the same school though is BS.

I thought that was earned with your team... if I were BK, I'd give him an OPPORTUNITY to earn a scholarship for next season.

What will the NIL boosters do? Yank the opportunity from Cadaverious or Tanner to act as “spokesman” for the Yoknapatawpha County Food Bank?

Break the boys’ hearts, I’m sure, if they can’t promote a cause so near and dear.

Lonn may actually be LSUStephen

What next for LSU???

I heard a first hand account from a family member of a recruit, telling me that during the A&M game, their son actually asked LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward straight up "who will be the next coach?"

Woodward's only known response, first hand, second hand, any hand about the coaching search, offered a few clues which tell me that Mario Cristobal could be the guy

Jamarr Chase had just as many yards and more tds in one season than Boutte has his entire college career.

So when drama like this happens, nobody really cares. It doesn't impact anything.

Goddamn. Even when LSU players are coming back for another season, they still opt out.

What the frick's up with that shite? The culture at LSU is in the wall paper and carpet fibers. There's no getting that out.

It’s always the LSU players doing some weird shite to avoid playing football.

I don’t get it.
