I saw it too. It was a 30 point beat down with both teams healthy. The league willingly switched the game up to early October when they saw how tough it was for Auburn to have to play Georgia and Alabama so close together.

Maybe Auburn should get better at football. Sorry bud life is not fair. It was bad look for Auburn to get this done. Not surprising did the same thing moving the Bama game in the 80s (because it is insecure about the strength of its program) but they still want to call it the "Iron Bowl". I did not hear any Aubs complaining about this in the 90s or early 2000s when UGA and/or Bama sucked

Always a great uniform matchup.

You do know that Kirby had concerns about playing Auburn and Tech back to back away games and voiced those in 2019?

Is it tough? Sure. What would Auburn do if they make the playoffs? I mean, you have the SECCG, then round 1 then round 2 if you win. I doubt they are going to move the playoffs so you don't have to play two tough games close together.

The year you are talking about we played Auburn(#2), then Oklahoma(#2) then Alabama(Champions).

Did he voice those to the SEC Offices? We would have been fine with playing Auburn twice in a row at our place to even things out.

I was looking, because I had not heard that. Do you have a link to where he complained about playing Auburn and GT away?

Also, the poster you said that to is an Alabama fan, not a Georgia fan.

1986- UGA 20 AU 16. Georgia secured win on the plains and jubilant fans rushed the field. AU personnel doused the fans with hoses, then turned them into the stands. The infamous "game between the hoses".

I can understand hosing people on the field.....but why the stands?

Kerryon was hurt! The schedule is unfair.

Losers lament!

The series used to be dead even…after Sat Auburn will be 3-14 in the last 17 and one of those was a fluke gift.

We changed the schedule to accommodate you whiny bitches and even went to Auburn 2 years in a row and Auburn STILL sucks.
