I don't know about salty bammers, but that video just made the Vol that made it look like a complete dumbass. The targeting penalty was as obvious as it gets.

What made Jeudy a defenseless player in that play? I’ll wait

Helmet to helmet contact on a player inches from the ground.

If LSU player struck, then display, "Kick that defender out of the SEC!"

If Alabama player struck, then display, "Clean hit. Quit complaining."

If neither team participating, run command reasonable opinion.

Running reasonable opinion during Alabama game will result in fault error.

I've seen hits at the goal line like that 100 times that do not get called for targeting. Even the commentators said it was a clean hit.

Why don't you tell me how a defender is supposed to stop a RB from getting across the goal line there without lowering his body and making contact.

It was a BS call.

Funny how I didn't see the bad calls that went UT's way and there were several. Accusing the refs has always been the sore losers go to move. It is just easier to accuse men of being biased or corrupt than to admit defeat. The most amusing thing to me is that the whole reason we need third party refs is because we can't count on fans to be objective. But I'm supposed to listen and put stock in biased fans opinions on refs? So I say to anybody who might read this. You have two choices. Take your losses like men or act like bitches. It is up to you.

Not trying to get in the middle of the shite flinging, but I was told that this was only ONE consideration when evaluating targeting. I was having same argument when one of our RB's was KO'd by an AU defender that was also helmet to helmet, but not called.

You really think that the refs are bought by Bama? I mean....i hope Bama gets a better return than that PI on the endzone pass to the TE. Effectively got Bama from the 3 to the 1 1/2 ...think about that. Refs were so in favor of Bama that they didnt think Bama could score from the 3ish yard line...they (refs) were willing to stake their careers on making sure Bama got an additional 1.5 yrds. I mean...they didn't call PI or something against UT on the pick in the endzone (not saying that there was, but ifb they are in Bamas pocket...that is when a flag comes out not for 1.5 yards)
