We currently have an interest in the Auburn program because there’s a couple of wideouts that we’re about to pluck from your program. This is the main reason we hired your wide receivers coach.

No thanks. We already have a prima donna wr that makes too much money per drop.

Remember when Freeze didn't want to "spend that much on a QB? WTF was he putting it putting it in Cinnamon's Roth IRA?

I would bet the farm Perry Thompson was getting first round money. He wasn't worth sixth round.

like 22 or so in the portal, we've replaced 40 plus multiple times the last few years
I don’t really watch the numbers, but I was thinking 22 was excessive. 40? Yikes.

An Alabama fan just posted about Auburn.

At least it's not a corndog posting about Alabama. Y'all just had the greatest 7-5 season in the history of college football. You're on a hot streak. That's 4 or more losses in 5 of the last 6 years, right?

It definitely hasn't been a good start for the Russian.

Why? Players leaving were the soft, overpaid players under Freeze.

Don't want them on the team.

Cool, he's good at coaching how to drop passes.

Golesh will probably pull in some of his former players. There are 8 USF bulls in the portal, all rated 3 star or less.

Auburn has not “lost” a player yet.

Some guys say they are going to hit the portal in hopes of getting more NIL.

Don’t judge anything until the portal closes.

Then we can panic or celebrate.

Any players threatening to portal should be off the team.

What the heck is "first round money"

The list of the top 25 NIL earners is out and I highly doubt Perry sniffs that list.

I am sure he will bring in some of his guys. Cignetti took 15 players with him to Indiana from JMU. Cam Ward was a 0*. If you can play, you can play.

It means on Auburn's roster, he was getting upper-end NIL money.

Do you think Jackson Arnold was worth whatever he was getting? He was also one of the top NIL earners on our roster last year.

You watched. The fat needs to be trimmed. Some will leave that are going to hurt. That is the game we live in now. Some aren't worth the money they are getting. Players have the power in todays game.

It does seem to be the trend that some of these kids get the bigger bucks and just have huge production dropoffs.

No he wasn't. He was probably getting about 400,000 maybe. Youre gonna see players like Cam Coleman make 1.8 million. Singleton, Xavier, Arnold, and Deuce over a million.

Only Xavier has put up the numbers. So how far are we going to let the blood letting go?

There is always going to transfers at every school. These could be players told to look for another school, players that aren’t happy where they are currently, or maybe they just want more money.

Golesh was hired to make changes to 5-7 team. There are 22 declared entering the portal so far for Auburn, which is about average for a SEC team. The big change this year is the later portal date, so no news of incoming portal players, and some are just inpatient.

If Golesh wants to ask his players to take less money up front then 22 is just the starting point lil brother
