Not that I disagree with you particularly, but I sure wish there would be less talk about that T-giving game for now.

Both SC and Auburn are going to be tough wins, and it would not surprise me to drop 1 of those. The kickback on this site will be relentless if and when that happens.

Have you ever watched a Texas vs Texas A&M game? What about a game between the two where both are ranked?

I have. 2011. It was sad.

Why do you think Texas is overrated?

I think that they have played 1 great team (Georgia) and had their tails handed to them. They played one average to slightly-below average team (Vanderbilt) and won by 3 points (and yes, I know Texas had a 10 point lead with less than a minute to go and it was on the road, so I take that with a grain of salt).

Where do you think they should be ranked?

I don't care about the rankings, not really. It's fun to talk about, but at the end of the day, they don't mean anything.

Why do you think A&M has a really good team?

7 in a row, 5-0 in the SEC. Our defense is really, really good, and our offense can put the ball in the end zone. More importantly, Elko (I consider HCs a part of the team) is very good at making adjustments, especially after the half.

I don't think we're elite, but at this point in the season, I think we are better than Texas. Plus, it'll be a night game at Kyle Field.

We are not losing to Auburn. Thorne is an INT machine and we're really good at picking QBs off.

Why is this relevant this week?

Doesn't matter really. Texas barely dropped in polls after UGA trounced them in Austin. Now back up to #3 after surviving at Vandy.

They back and all...

For Aggie, it's relevant every week, year round.

Entering the game..

Texas 6-4
Texas A&M 6-5

Both teams were average at best.

The better team usually wins this game. There aren't many upsets. Both teams are pretty even this year. Some writers will say Texas wins 67% of games against A&M. Some will say Texas has a winning record at Kyle Field. Some will pick A&M because they think Texas hasn't played anyone.

None of that matters. If both teams win out between now and then, that will mean both teams are good, and therefore it will be a coin flip game.

It's very rare for both teams to enter that game with a good team.

The crowd noise was much more brutal in the little Kyle field. Idk why, acoustics or whatever, it doesn't make sense but it was freaking brutal.

Have you been to a game in the renovated stadium? We haven’t played one another since that happened.

I respectfully disagree. It's not a neutral-site game.

So Texas has no chance to win that game? Is that your opinion?

Sir, what I'm saying is that it makes no sense for Texas to be favored. A&M should be favored.

That is all I am saying.

If you win out you'll be favored in that game. There's zero doubt in my mind on that. As you should be.

Who cares right now? There is a month of football between now and then and, in this conference, anything can happen in that amount of time.

Yes, been to two games in the bigger Kyle.

vs. Tennessee 6-7 years ago, and another one that was so lame I don't remember the opponent.

The Texas refs will nullify whatever home field advantage we have.

So, I agree. Coin flip.

Hopefully we keep our shoulders square to the LOS.

Texas is 5-1 at Kyle Field since 2000.

A betting line is perception. The goal is to get half of the bets on 1 side.. half on the other side. That way, the book wins the juice and has no risk.

The betting line is not made just for Aggies & Longhorns. It is made for the public.
