T-Rents mom "house sitting" while he was at bama. (he said that in an interview) -- you have any proof that there was an NCAA violation? Do you have any documents? Do you have a copy of the lease? Anything other than was said in an interview that you don't known the whole story? Seriously? Nothing but a made up rumor that's been repeated enough by the ITAt loons that it is now considered a fact.
T-Town Menswear. (This isn't he said/he said. There are hundreds of pictures of it)
Do you have any proof that the players received anything against the NCAA rules? You do know that is where the team gets their game day attire/uniforms. Which are paid for by the athletic department due to them being required dress for game day. The pictures prove nothing. Once again, another ITAT fantasy.
Taking a prospect out of state, the weekend before Signing Day, and having said prospect sign with bama. (Clear NCAA violation. Brent Calloway)
LOL- so prospects aren't allowed to go out of state for the weekend? He originally was committed to Bama for almost a year before Au almost bought him but he realized that was a mistake and had to get out of town due to the Au ITAT loonies following/Stalking him. What specific rule was broken? What is the proof of a violation? Again, another ITAT fantasy that's been repeated enough that y'all believe it.
Having players drive vehicles, while at bama, that were as expensive as the house they grew up in. (Julio Jones)
How do you know how much his house was worth or how much his car cost? Stalk much? No proof just speculation thats been repeated so many time by the ITAT loons that it is now somehow a fact.
GTFO with all those speculatory allegations with no actual evidence of any violation.

All it takes to have a binding contract is a meeting of the minds. Can be written, or it can even be verbal. I could sign and have an agreement witnessed on toilet paper, as long as we had a meeting of the minds we have a valid contract.
So the NFL accepts TP and Napkins now for contracts? #ItsANewDay

I think the OP got his money's worth in this thread.
Op started it because the other thread was anchored and he wanted it to stay at the top, so yes

The toilet paper or napkin is about what an NFL contract is worth. Actually, the TP or napkin has more use.

its pretty easy if you are from foley. Julio played the game. most know it down there. Hell his car was from a booster, not bama though

I said I have a second generation cousin who played at Foley with Julio. He showed me Julio's house. Like every gump, you want to ignore the facts.
You can "spin" ish any way you want. Facts are facts!!!

Only in the infinite wisdom and logic of the NCAA compliance staff could a napkin be considered an enforecable contract

Well I live down here and there wasn't nearly as much talk as some Au fans want to believe. Ask you boy tide hater he coaches at Foley. He has never said and in fact disputed the Julio rumors.

I live down here, whether his house was a dump or not doesn't mean he couldn't get a car ... hell I see caddy's, Mercedes, Lexuses and etc. all the time parked I. front of dumps. Dumb to think just because a house is a dump = can't get a car.

Those sons of bitches are stupid. There is no way around it. They have never even questioned what was signed. The would believe he signed some girls tits and that was what bama got in trouble for if someone had floated that idea originally.

I don't know about any of this stuff, but I'm always amazed at how much you guys know or at least claim to know. Even about other teams and other team's players. Not sure if it's impressive or weird.

agreed, however getting a denali and navigator at the same time for a family like his(not saying they were destitute) raises a little suspicion , especially when a booster of a school recruiting you buys them.

I heard those same rumors bit they were just that, rumors. Nothing but rumors and speculation. Autos are the hardest thing for players to get away with a violation due to the vetting of them by all universities and compliance.

Why would the NFL be a party to an agent/player contract? Anyway, I'm not really sure what the NFL's stance is on what medium they require contracts to be expressed through, but that is moot, the relevant question would be whether that agent accepted TP/Napkin contracts, because if he has a no TP/Napkin contract policy, well then Langham/Bama are most likely making up the whole napkin thing.
As to whether that is what really happened or not on the napkin? I don't know, that's just the story I've always heard. I was only pointing out you posted the NCAA said there was a signed witnessed contract as evidence that it wasn't a napkin contract, but what the NCAA said doesn't prevent that contract from being one of the napkin variety.
