A big time program needs to snatch up Briles ASAP

Given that he is at Baylor, what he's doing there is amazing.
I honestly thought Arkansas should have gone after him, but that was before anyone knew about Bielema (which I think is a pretty good hire).
I'm betting he eventually ends up somewhere in the SEC.

Get good recruits on that side of the ball and/or a good D-coordinator. Shouldn't be too hard to do in the SEC.
Good coaches delegate aspects they are good at to other good coaches.

My thoughts are he's the next coach in Austin whenever that time comes.

Is that why we hired a defensive coach?

I honestly think he would have been a better hire at Auburn than Malzahn.

I thought that was Saban's job?

so glad Arkansas didnt hire Briles. His style of offense with Texas connections recruiting would have been dangerous. And don't tell me Arkansas would not have ponied up the money for a damn good DC.
Athletes on Defense do not go to Baylor but Arkansas I can see.

Arkansas will rue the day. But thank God. He was the one guy I thought could do brilliant things at Arkansas.
He'd be perfect in Fayettville.
What he's done is remarkable.

The PAC 12 is showing just how awful they really are.
we may just run Notre Dame out of Miami.

he's 57, we needed to find someone that has potential to be around a while.

He would be a good choice for Texas when Mack Brown "retires". He is a Texas guy. He played at Houston and has coached throughout the state. His defenses suck, but that is not a big deal in the Big 12.

Bielema probably hasn't even reached his potential yet
I'm stoked
