It would be better if they did ACC vs SECE and Big 12 vs SECW.
Alabama vs Oklahoma
Lsu vs Osu
ATM vs UT
Auburn vs Baylor
Ole Miss vs Texas Tech
State vs West Virginia
Arkansas vs Tcu
And throw Mizzou vs Kansas in there for rivalry
And in the east you have
Florida vs Fsu
Georgia vs Tech
USC vs Clemson
Kentucky vs Louisville
UT vs Virginia Tech
Vandy vs North Carolina
Vanderbilt vs. either Duke or Wake Forest.

1) The 2015 schedule that is announced this spring will be yet another "bridge" schedule, with anything permanent not occurring until 2016.
it's already a done deal that the '14 and the '15 schedules are "bridge" schedules. the SEC office wants 9 games and imo will have bridge schedules until it happens. and yes, i believe they play favorites with both bama and the aggy. maybe for tv purposes; saban and jff big tv draws.

frick bridge schedules. It can't be that hard to figure out a damn rotation that can be applied to a 9 game schedule down the road

A nine game schedule would be perfect for Florida and Georgia.
Foley doesn't think so. He has publicly stated his opposition to a 9 game schedule. As long as he is against it, it probably doesn't stand a great chance of happening.

I think SEC teams should try to schedule OOC games against teams from other regions of the country, if possible, rather than ACC teams.
Kentucky already has Louisville and if we ever tried to drop them the state legislature here has already threatened to force the two schools to play yearly.

LSU sure relishes the role of the downtrodden.

I would love to do a rotating home and home vs ACC and Big 12 team.
Home game vs ACC
Away vs Big 12
Home game vs a scrub like ULL, LaTech, ULM or Tulane
9 game SEC schedule
Now that would be a great LSU schedule

I like this idea. Can we get rid of the Tennessee game, though, or do we have to play it? Or, if we lose them, and they improve under Butch, will the REC have manipulated the schedule?

Can anyone name a single ACC team that we don't already play that has a recruiting ground that would be worth opening our recruiting grounds in exchange for?
They offer us:
North Carolina
NJ/NY region
Penn/W.Va region
Virginia
Massachusetts
Maryland
We offer them:
Alabama
Miss.
TX
Ark
TN
MO
LA
+ opening up Georgia and Florida to the entire ACC not just the in-state rivals who don't compete with SEC schools all that much
Oh yeah that sounds like a deal we should jump on, especially when we already take the prime recruits from the 'new' grounds they offer!

Virginia Tech
Wake Forest - doesn't vandy sometimes play them?

I'd rather LSU play PAC-12 and Big Ten teams along with occasional Big 12 and ACC teams. It's already a sham that the SEC (bama grad Mark Womack) changes who we play every year in the conference with no apparent system at work. Why give the SEC the right to determine who we play OOC? That is LSU's business and LSU's business only.
