Except in the years when it doesn’t. Furthermore, league played 10 conference games last year and went 6-2 in bowls. Ot just isn’t an indicator of anything big picture.

1-5 and 12 of the last 18 national titles comprising of 4 different schools, 3 of which have multiple titles.

SEC had three good teams in 2021. Those three teams (UGA, Bama, OMiss) have yet to play a bowl game.
