It's possible

One of our season ticket holders is saying that he knows personally a few people who had their money refunded for this game because they had not contributed enough to get the tickets. Something tells me that the "UGA returned several thousand tickets" is a bit of propaganda to make the natives restless over being dismissed and overlooked by an overconfident UGA and their fan base.
Agree.
I just looked at UT's website for the game and there are still tickets available in the lower bowls. They are 80 bucks a pop.

Yeah I had that conversation with someone on here the other day. There are still seats available in the UGA section on the south upper deck on UT's website. But I'm not really sure where the line is on sections though. Like I said, conflicting info going around.

There are seats available in most sections of the stadium. Most of the seats are singles though.

Im sure they want that place as rowdy as possible for the game. No offense, but with the disparity in talent, UT does need every possible advantage to pull the upset. I know I already predicted it, simply because I think we come out flat and yall come out jacked, with the crowd and the new uni's, but you really do need it all to come together.
I was there in 2007 when it was 28-0 at halftime.
Pretty much the same situation. I hope we have learned from the past but, I don't think we have.

Dallas, I did post your information about the season ticket holders correctly, yes?
If I am not quite correct, please correct me here.

No, it's not.
I don't get why people keep saying "remember 2004!? Remember 07, or 09!??!"
In 2004 and 2007 for sure, and to a lesser degree 09, UT was a pretty good team. Hell they won the east in 04 adn 07! In 2009 they weren't great, but we weren't either as we had 5 losses.
I don't even know the last time UGA had a really, really good team (a top 5 caliber team) and UT had a really, really bad team that might not win a conference game. Sure, you can point to the past few years, and say they were close, but the biggest, MAIN reason those games are irrelevant is because UT at least had SOME threats that could scare you. Bray, Hunter, Patterson, Rogers, etc..they dont' have that this year. They have an underachieving OL, a bunch of unprovens at WR, a servicable RB, and possibly the worst QB in the league. Their defense has put up numbers against 2 scrubs, and got their doors blown off by the only legit offense they've faced.
I fully expect us to come out hungover from LSU and frick around for a while and not look like we should. But we damn sure aren't going to lose. We are simply much, much better than them.

Do you mean one of the best offenses in the country on the road in our first real test of the season with a brand new starting QB and skill positions? Then, yeah.

And ya'lls defense is bad enough that we still might be able to score enough to win

Vols - 35
Dawgs - 34
UGA misses 48 yard field goal at the buzzer to seal the Vol victory.
Neyland explodes and I skinny dip in the Tennessee river.

I hope you are right WG. I just have a hard time dismissing the past when there are multiple examples of our team letting down against UT. I know you are saying that they are soooo much worse this year than in the other years, but we were bigger favorites in 04 than we are this week. Vegas usually knows what they are talking about.

May just be a UT fan wearing those boots this time around, DoUrden.

Proof that not every single thread has to turn into a troll and flame fest.

Very much so, but there are a few of us on here but not many.

I like the dawgs by about 3 TD's in a fairly high scoring game.
