The BCS game is huge for Saban regardless of how Bama got there... Win and he has 3 NC and two while at Alabama in 5 years...
Lose and Myles is the king... Sa$an would have tied Chizik in SEC and NC in his first 5 years.
Also, LSU is poised to do it again next year..
Win and LSU IS the dominate program in the SEC, no doubt about it...

With all of these famed recruiting classes, it's pretty pathetic that all you could manage was 1 national title in 5 years

We've only had one No. 1 recruiting class since Les has been here, Saban has had what..3 or 4?

Meh, depends on the site,anywhere in the top five is elite,and both Bama and LSU have been there consistently under Miles and Saban...

3 undefeated regular seasons in regulation? Moral victories got love em'. 1 SEC championship. 1-1 in BCS appearances so far. With that many #1 recruiting classes, and if Saban loses on Jan 9th. Will he be considered another under achiever like Richt even with a NC? I think you would have to say yes.

In 2007, like 2011, LSU PLAYED their way in to the BCS Title game.
This year, bama got VOTED in. By a thread.
And without ESPN's concern about ratings and pushing the bama mulligan, the tide would have played Michigan last night.

Miles is a great coach. It was a shame losing to ULM but Miles is a great coach so there is no shame in losing to him. Saban and Miles are the best coaches in the country IMO.
