A whole 5 years?!!!!

My point remains, what other schools besides Bama has any right to talk shite to LSU?

- Auburn won the SEC and went to the national title game in 2013, but LSU has beaten them 7 of the last 10, so not them.

- Arkansas lost by like 100 this year, so not them

- A&M, well, yea, no

- Ole Miss, no

- State won that one time, but no

- Florida beat LSU this past year and went to Atlanta 2 straight years, so maybe a bit from them, but not a ton

Yea - pretty much just Alabama.

Yea, at best other schools come to a draw. The only team that clearly owns LSU is Alabama............and Alabama clearly owns everyone in the league outside of Ole Miss.

- 10 straight vs Tennessee
- 10 straight vs Arkansas
- 9 straight vs Mississippi St
- 6 straight vs Florida
- 6 straight vs LSU
- 4 of 5 vs Texas A&M
- 5 of 6 and 7 of 9 vs Auburn

So, I mean, it's not like it's just LSU.

LSU fires their head coach despite the fact they're still a Top 5 program. They will rue the day. They will rue it.

Absolutely. It's hard to overcome a team with the talent of Alabama and the coaching system of Saban. Many teams have one or the other, and win a lot of games, but to have both like they do; it's rare.
Your average college football fan acknowledges that Alabama has exceptional talent with a culture of winning championships and they blindly will credit Saban above all. This line is real blurry to most but the fact is... Players win football games. Nicks game day coaching is fairly average and he already has been and would be an average coach under different circumstances. He excels in allocating resources, recruiting, game discipline and running a major program.

His 7 consecutive #1 ranked recruiting classes is absolutely what drives his big time success. As a result he no longer recruits but rather "Drafts" HS players. None of this high-level sustained success is possible without first getting these elite players on campus.

The hard truth is that Saban needs these highly elite prospects a lot more than they need him for Alabama's program to maintain this success.

I'd be more worried about them as a Bama fan than as a Clemson fan.

Bama owns Ole Miss, 2 games doesn't change ownership with the series history as one sided as it has been in Bama's favor . Past 10 games 8-2

Past 10 years

Bama vs. SECW

LSU 7-3
AU 7-3
OM 8-2
MSST 9-1
Tamu 4-1
ARK 10-0

UT 10-0

We have all that...............yet we're still 0-for-1 vs South Carolina since 2010

Florida State, Ohio State, LSU and USC are pretty close. They are consistently in the #2-#7 range in recruiting. USC obviously has underperformed (but they did have sanctions), and the others fall pretty close into their ranking spot.

Ohio State has been great at landing a ton of 4* kids who are really good players. They had not been landing elite 5* guys at a very high rate before the 2017 class. I think they had as many in this class as in total between 2012-2016. Those 5* guys are the absolute gamechangers that can win you a game out of nowhere
