Do you want me to start trotting out all the statistics that show Colorado's tourism increase after legalization? There are plenty.

Sure, only if they exclude people coming from other recreational states or have medical recommendations. It's a hard sell they are coming just for the weed

First of all I don't live in Florida anymore, and if you weren't stoned you could probably read Dallas, TX in my signature.

So rather than legalize it and not allow it for consumption in public, just keep it illegal so they will be a little less brazen with it.

Lol... drinking in public is widely celebrated at countless events. Almost biweekly in the fall.

I am not telling you that people only go to Colorado for weed. I am telling you that weed sales has had a large impact on tourism in Colorado. Yes I agree that tourism will wain as other places offer it, but Colorado is still the Mecca right now for weed vacations. It doesn't hurt that it is already a great place for tourism. If you were Kansas I agree it would be different, but you still cannot deny the impact.

What does this have to do with anything?

The point is that it’s not a big deal, far less than alcohol is actually, so why do you support the govt making it such a big deal?

It’s both Wasteful and damaging, and thus stupid.

Still waiting for your statistics on all the people who found weed and quit drinking.

And there it is. The stoner go to argument. It is not as bad as alcohol.

I don't care about this, and I haven't mentioned anything about that. You were trying to say that people were drinking less due to weed being legalized and you have abandoned that argument. You are just being a contrarian.

This statement is like saying that 48 states have legalized gambling so it is not a main factor in tourism to Vegas.

Funny story... last time I went to Vegas was purely to buy marijuana. Was doing a week+ in Utah, visiting the 5 national parks. Vegas was about as close as SLC to zion/bryce, so it was a simple choice in airports. I could've started in grand junction, CO and done arches and canyonlands first, but they don't stock Mike Tyson farms and Willie Nelson's product. I passed on Colorado based solely on weed

It’s a strong point, and far from the only one I have mentioned.

And your list is still zero.

As is yours.

I respect both of your rights, and if they legalize it, good for the both of you. I do hope you won't be smoking up in public if the ordinances specify that you cannot, and respect those around you who don't want to be near it.

It’s clearly a point well over your head. Safe and legal access to weed will naturally reduce excess alcohol consumption.

How do I know? Personal experience. I am not the only normal and reasonable person in this world, and thus my personal experience is just another strong example you can’t refute.

Wrong. My list was 4 strong. At least smokeyone tried to refute them, even if he failed miserably like vol football, so what’s your excuse?

All I can say to that is, cool story bro!

I am not trying to be an arse, but just because you bypassed Colorado has no bearing on the fact that tourism has increased in Colorado since marijuana was legalized.

You guys are only proving how hard you will fight for your drug. It is really sad that you need it so much, and I hope you can get off of it sometime in the future.

Again no disrespect to you or your freedoms that you enjoy, so long as you give me the same respect.

Key word got missed was “excess”.

Did the population census stay the same?

Does that link detail consumption? Because that’s what I am talking about.

And your list is still zero.

Population census?

What other census is there?

You are just deflecting now. I am not the one who needs to make an argument here. I am fine with the laws in Texas just as they are. Florida too.

I realized before we started arguing that you guys would never give up even when proven wrong. You are proving my point that you can't live without it.

Consumption per person is the point being made. Does your link address that?

Ignoring the desperate victory lap you are taking for this point, there are 2 things going on:

1. your list supporting your original point is still zero.

2. My list is still 3 strong, and you haven’t even started to refute them, so claiming you have proven them wrong is, well, wrong.

So, you are certainly the one that needs to get to work to make an argument in 2 different things. The burden was placed right in your lap when I responded to your silly claim.

And, no, none of these points proves I can’t live without it. That might be the most illogical conclusion I have seen one reach.

This is a joke, right? You've repeatedly expressed interest in shitting on the freedom we've been discussing. You even blamed me being high on why mobile doesn't display signatures on this site. I absolutely plan on returning the same level of respect

Excuse me? Where did I ever say that you shouldn't toke down anywhere it is legal?

Also what is wrong with being high? You say that like it is a bad thing??
