Maybe. He’s from OKC, grew up a fan. By all accounts had an emotional meeting with BV and co this weekend. Maybe his parents saw the Nico fallout and didn’t want that smoke. The whole portal/NIL system is going to ruin these kids lives and needs to be overhauled.

I am sure OU told them if he does this shite again it’s over for him. You just can’t ruin a culture over one kid . If he was asking for more money that’s one thing but I believe he just wanted what he was being payed . It’s really OUs fault for paying him that much out of high school. There is no reason a freshman should be making more than all- Americans .
