You really hope he gets 10 years prison time?

don't care what the idiotic law says although I acknowledge he'll be charged by those laws. The fact is a .051 is nowhere close to drunk. This law is going to be used to railroad a teenager who probably already bore fault for the accident due to simply not paying attention but he's not the demon that police, prosecutors, the media and peanut gallery will portray him as and already have portrayed him as.

He refused to blow at the scene and they got his BAC from the blood draw at the hospital over an hour later. There’s a good possibility he was over the legal limit for an adult when the accident happened. And that’s not even taking into consideration his size, tolerance, etc.

That all said, take a fricking Lyft or Uber. There’s literally no excuse to drink and drive these days.

Also, a young lady who worked as a babysitter for the family has started a GoFundMe to help raise funds for the family while they deal with the costs of losing such a young child suddenly. They’ve exceeded their goal but having seen the financial costs for families beyond just funeral expenses, additional donations certainly won’t hurt.
